Who We are (About our Hypnosis Training)

We have been preparing students to launch careers as Counselling Hypnotherapists since 1986 and were accredited by PCTIA in 2006. We were Designated by PTIB (Private Training Institutions Branch) and EQA in 2014. We have more experience than almost anyone in this field to offer you the best Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy training available.

Our training is structured for those students who would not be satisfied with a typical “short course” but rather have a strong desire to be fully qualified Counselling and Resident Professional Hypnotherapists.

Our online Basic and Counselling Hypnotherapy Certification and our Counselling Skills Program can be attended from anywhere in the world. Our students have come from the USA, Canada, Australia, Britain, Europe and other countries worldwide. All you need to take our training is a good internet connection and phone or computer. In addition, the support we provide is second to none.

Sheldon and Diane freely share their combined 50 years of experience in the field of Hypnotherapy with their students and are always available when support is needed.  Our private Facebook group enhances each student’s ability to communicate with and support each other throughout their hypnotherapy training. Our intent is that our students never feel that they are doing the course alone.
In addition to covering the works and methods of Milton Erickson, M.D., Stephen Gilligan, PhD., Serge King, Ph.D. and others, our hypnosis training uniquely includes innovative hypnotherapeutic approaches developed from 50 years of professional expertise. Sheldon Bilsker, HT, RCC, the founder, and Diane Auld, MTC, HT bring extensive skills and experience to our school.

Our Basic Hypnotherapy Certification and Counselling Hypnotherapy Certificate Programs, are approved by the International Association of Counselling Hypnotherapists and as members, our graduate students receive the corresponding certification from the IACH in addition to Orca Institute’s certification. Our Counselling Skills Diploma Program is Approved by ACCT as we are an associate school with the Association of Co-operative Counselling Therapists.

Government Financial assistance is available for eligible students who are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, through the Canadian and provincial government student loan programs. Our Counselling Skills Diploma Program was reviewed and approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.
